The woman
[[Independent RP-blog for the movie!verse Irene Adler]]
*Flippantly,* As I said, everyone’s a pet to meeeee.
I had forgotten how infuriating of a man you were, even in a different form. *She frowns, rolling her eyes*
*Smiles* You’ll learn to get used to it, hmm?
And why would I go through the trouble of that? You refuse to let Mr. Holmes be so I see no reason to do business with you. I need to get used to what I am not around.
I’m sure I’ll see you around~
Let us hope that you are wrong, Jim dear.

*Irene pursed her lips as Moriarty geared what she had said earlier against her. With an annoyed look she pressed on, shaking her head* That is beside the point. I am no one’s pet, nor am I one to be beaten. I grant you permission to try, so that you and I may both see what you are capable of.
*Flippantly,* But it looks as though I just beat you right now, didn’t I? *Smiles again, though it doesn’t reach his eyes* Oh, relax, everyone’s a pet to me, darling.
*Another frown, her eyes narrowing in a glare as she tugged at the gloves on her hands* I don’t recall ever saying that. And everyone but me, darling. I prefer not to be anyone’s pet.
*He notices this gesture and smiles* Nervous, are you? And I think you know exactly what I meant. You prefer not to, buuut that doesn’t mean you’re not~
That isn’t a word I would choose to describe myself, dear. *She finishes fiddling with her gloves before crossing her arms, giving an indifferent shrug* Fine then, since you’re too dull to understand otherwise I will put it bluntly: I am not your pet.

A friendly adversary? Well, you’re awfully protective of “a friendly adversary,” Miss Adler. You seem to have forgotten that I’m the most dangerous man in London. You’d be dead before you could try anything, let’s be honest, now. You’re all talk.

He’s an entertaining friendly adversary. *A smile, albeit forced as she narrowed her eyes at him* And you seem to forget that I am The Woman. I’ve been “dead” by means of a Moriarty before, and look how well that turned out.
Oh, but I’m sure you could find more entertaining adversaries, hmmm? *Throws her a deadly smile* Oh, buuuut, dear. Another one. You don’t know me, though. What I’m capable of. I could beat you easily, pet.

I am loyal to none other but myself. Sherlock is a friend who I owe a debt to, that is all. *She takes a moment to study him before frowning* I certainly would, Moriarty. It is unwise to test me when I already hold a grudge to your name.
This is sentimental. You feel for Sherlock Holmes. This is too much. *Laughs* Maybe you would kill me, darlin’, but you couldn’t. You couldn’t~

I see him as nothing more than a friendly adversary, do not assume there is anything more. And is that so? I feel I’ve been issued a challenge, dear. But do go on, I’d love to hear your reasoning for not being able to kill you.
